What sets me apart as an entrepreneur:
I live for adventure! My spark is that I'm almost always willing to say "YES" to new things, new challenges + new businesses. I see taking risks as the spice of life and each risk is an opportunity for outrageous success and learning!
I have been commended for my unique approach to failure. So many people get caught up in micro-failures... you know, the small [or sometimes big] things that don't go as planned during day-to-day attempts. When I encounter these obstacles [which I do ALL THE TIME], I tend to "zooming out." This moment, this day, this season may have tanked compared to what I was aiming for, but can it really be considered a failure if I stick it out, go again and then SUCCEED in an even bigger way? It's not a failure - it's an obstacle to learn from + overcome.
I have crazy resilience [I know this is a buzz word]... but I was actually compared to a cockroach 🪳 because I experience really hard shit and always come out of it and keep going.
Confidence is my baseline. I believe that I can accomplish anything I set my dreams to. I build that vision and keep taking action toward it while pulling in incredible partners to help bring it to life because sharing + creating with others is infinitely better than experiencing my dream alone.
I live to learn, continuously improve + to take high-quality imperfect action. This is my way to create and elevate.
I do my best, most visionary thinking on my mountain bike + I've been known to host business meetings at the rock climbing gym. Adventure gives me inspiration so I make space for this to generate my entrepreneurial journey.

As a systems-visionary and a leader in many industries, who facilitates process improvement for global organizations, my Rockstar zone is to solve problems in ways that will build the back-end to effectively support the front-end experience. Many founders understand the value of this but struggle with the mindset and strategy to bring it to life. I bring this to Empower Her and to our community!

My Intimate Why
As an engineer in a deeply male-dominated field, I was faced with the carving my own path: proving my value, earning my worth + creating leadership opportunities to elevate my growth and impact.
I wake up each day using my entrepreneurial journey to intentionally build a new reality for my 2 daughters. One where they are free to choose any path they envision and can step into it with confidence, ease, and unwavering support. A reality where there is community + connection to fuel their creativity + action as they bring their biggest dreams to life.
My Service-Driven Why
Expanding the impact of my Intimate Why, I envision sharing the dream I have for my daughters with every woman I meet. When a woman is willing to speak out loud her most sacred dream, it inspires me to create a space to support this path and her forward momentum.
I wake up each day to build Empower Her with one intention: to walk alongside women as they step into their biggest dreams. Whether her dream is financial freedom, a legacy that extends far beyond herself, or a lifestyle aligned with her deepest passions, her path is worthy + powerful in its own right.
This is my way of giving back to the world: paving a path where women feel supported, confident + fully empowered to pursue what they are here to create and knowing they do not have to do it alone.
Systems, Strategy + Expertise
I am an expert in lean and six sigma. I have developed world class trainings with an experiential twist. If you've sat through lecture-based continuous improvement trainings in the past, you know first hand how tedious and mind-numbing these can become.
My approach is different. I bring trainings and all aspects of process improvement to life with hands-on simulations, interactive activities and an approach that helps integrate the training into a transformed mindset that can be immediately applied to each person's processes. This is what I have brought to life through the Kaizen Ninja Academy.
My true expertise comes from 20+ years of process improvement in service, manufacturing + higher education.
I am top in the industry at leading teams in Rapid, High-Impact Kaizen events that save 200k+ in only 1 week or less. My magic lies in leading teams to quickly solve problems and immediately implement... chopping projects that typically take 6+ months to implement to only 1 week of focused process transformation.

My Serial Entrepreneurial Journey
Have you ever been to a zipline adventure park and had the most incredibly exhilarating experience of your life? A decade ago, I lived in Southern California's wine country and thought an adventure park would do SO well here! Why doesn't someone build it here? After thinking about it for a few weeks, I came to the conclusion "Why Not Me?" I could bring this adventurous experience to life here!
So for the next 2+ years, I embarked on a journey to launch the Laughing Lizard Adventure Park, a $2 MM Startup. In this endeavor, I won investor pitch competitions, learned the art of negotiations with angel investors, built a solid business plan and launch strategy, met with contractors, designers and adventure enthusiasts to design never-before experienced adventure + teambuilding play.
This entrepreneurial experience truly inspired my deep risk taking. During this time, I tried new things and considered opportunities that I had never imagined as a professional corporate engineer. I fell in love with a new part of myself that was inspiring, adventurous + could bring dreams to life which built deeper relationships and helped people discover inspiring and adventurous sides of themselves that they didn't know existed.

In my entire entrepreneurial journey, I am most proud of creating Bulletproof Blyss, the Anthem to inspire each person to pursue their dreams.
When creating this music video, we had the most incredible women come together from all ages, backgrounds, lifestyles + from around the country to bring to life the magic of this Movement. This inspiration to have the courage to pursue your truest self.

One of the things you notice about Chanell before all else is her artistic style that sets her apart + brings the most bold and beautiful energy to our team and brand. As an artist and a creative, I have learned from her modeling how to step more fearlessly into my own journey.
Beyond her art, Chanell continuously inspires me with her actions and advice, to practice patience and step deeper into my feminine energy and intuition. Somatic healing... I'm really cerebral. Which means I can strategize and plan and execute tasks like a pro. But sometimes I need a reminder to tap into my body and my innate intuition. I'm integrating breathwork, working with a coach & doing yoga 4-5 mornings / week.
