Hello

and welcome to my slice of the world filled with art, creativity, business and possibility. I've been an entrepreneur for about 11+ years and after I had a life changing aha moment when I was making a collage, I realized... or more like remembered, that creating art was what I was meant to do forever, my calling, my purpose. Followed by another aha moment after my first transformational retreat where I noticed my gift of how I could almost accurately see and speak into others' lives and dreams. Inspiring others to find or [re]discover their dreams and using it as fuel for a full life of alignment, joy and blyss- ultimately creating a life they love. My art is infused with inspiring messages to follow your dreams, live your purpose and embrace your creativity, which is all throughout our website, social media and marketing materials. I fully believe we can have world peace- in this chaotic world, if we all start following our dreams and connecting with our Truest Selves.

XO, chanell

What sets me apart as an entrepreneur:

  • Well I think I'm pretty funny! A sense of humor and being able to laugh at yourself is needed in the life of an entrepreneur. It's not for the faint of heart.

  • This is basically the only life I've ever known. Coffee shops have been my only other real job besides being an entrepreneur. I started Crystal & Confetti Events right out of college, then starting lashing and opening a full service salon: Top Shelf Beauty Bar. Then I was inspired to create lash apparel and start a subscription box, mailing Fashion Lashin Beauty Boxes all over the world.

  • After years of chasing something rooted in a concept that wasn't for me, I closed up shop and gained a higher perspective. At first it was becoming my True Self Babe. But my soul was being reborn, gaining purpose and grounding in faith, freedom, and friendship.

  • With at least 10 years of misalignment I've navigated through, I have grit and resilience, newfound focus and direction. Now I'm in alignment; I have partnership, I have people who believe in my dreams, and that support is worth its weight in gold when you're going after your dreams!

I want that for you too!

MY IDENTITY STATEMENT

I am a resilient, passionate and creative wife, mother, and visionary who believes all things are possible and

want to inspire others to follow their dreams.

my whys

My Family

When my husband and I got married we agreed that generational change would be a pillar we would build our family on. We both grew up struggling. But the one struggle we absolutely don't want our kids to experience is the fear of chasing their dreams. We want them to know and feel our support + motivation for whatever it is that they want for their futures.

Women

My why for women is more than just girl power. It's for every woman who's suffered in silence, who watched the light burn out on a dream, who gave everything for someone else, who put everyone first before herself. It's for the woman who is itching to get out from under where she is. She a fighter, she has a dream, she sees beauty and healing and harmony.

The World

Call me crazy but I actually wholeheartedly believe that if we all started chasing our dreams than world peace could actually be possible. Think about it, instead of chasing the money, the ladder, the success, the fame, the hater, the bad boy, CHASE YOUR DREAMS! And if everyone did that? Don't you think that joy and fulfillment would transform us? I do!

How did I get here?

early career

I started my first business Crystal & Confetti Events when I was 23 with a friend. We designed lavish yacht engagement parties to Harry Potter birthday parties. It was fun and a lot of work, but what I ultimately realized was, I prefer throwing my own parties for my own friends and family.
I then started learning how to do lash extensions which led into building a full service salon. I was good at lashes and I loved the transformation it provided for women, to be a witness to someone seeing their beauty again was awesome - but I didn’t love it love it. So I started finding other ways to be inspired. Since I loved fashion, lash apparel sparked my interest. At the time there was only one other girl doing it big in the industry but her vibe was very pink, very girly, very much not my style. So I decided I wanted to design the edger version, for the salon girly who loved to wear black! But I also wanted to take it a step further and create more than just Ts and sweatshirts. I created the Fashion Lashin Beauty Obsessed subscription [Tee | Box | Trunk]. I partnered with other brands in the industry and created the first of its kind monthly subscription, shipping hundreds of boxes all over the world. But I was doing everything on my own with no help and an even worse home life situation. I needed something else… I knew this wasn’t it.

remembering the art

In 2020 lashes became the furthest thing from essential, halting the industry just like the world. But these girls who loved lashing, this was their creative outlet and that stopped too. So I got inspired again, by my love of creativity plus fashion, and The Met Gala. I created The LET: Lashes Elevated + Transformed, a creative lash competition with the goal to create an editorial style lookbook complete with lights, cameras and lashes! A competition, the first of its kind, inspired artists all over the country to keep lashing, with the hopes of hosting a gala finale “when the world opened up.” However, we ended up hosting everything online and it was still a huge success. I partnered with lash brands to help me judge and critique the looks and as a way of saying thank you to them I created a unique 1:1 collage art piece for each of them in their brand colors and style - this where I had a beautiful remembering that art was my calling… and maybe branding was too. Art and paper and repurposing things has always been a love of mine but I didn’t think it was a “career.”

the retreat[s] that changed everything

Before the LET I was at this crossroads with what to do with the business. I wasn’t loving it anymore, it was growing but I had no help or resources, no systems in place to have it run without me, I needed help! I hired a business coach to help me get it functioning better. Our conversations started out as business but she could tell there was something bigger in the way, I had to dance around things, I felt like I couldn’t be fully honest with her about what was happening holistically in my life— because “business and life are separate.” But it became too much, she was the first person I opened up to and confided in, it was my toxic, abusive marriage [to my ex-husband]. She was co-hosting a women’s retreat and she invited me to go. And I just knew in my spirit I needed to go, and it changed everything about my life. Those single 3 days, gave me Kirsten and our businesses: True Self Babe + Empower Her, unveiled my purpose, lead me to transformation on multiple levels, sparked new and untouched areas of creativity [I wrote, produced and created a song + music video] and it ultimately led me to shutting down my business, moving to the east coast and meeting my husband [we met at my 2nd transformational seminar] created by the co-host of the retreat. Truly a life changing weekend that unfolded over the following year which also reignited my faith and relationship with God.

Unleash Your True Self Babe

Kirsten and I created True Self Babe after attending the Awaken Your Hero women's retreat. After the retreat Kirsten and I continued to connect first as friends and then we started talking about business. Kirsten shared a aspect of business she was considering stepping into but expressed that she wasn’t in love with the idea and my reply was, “ well if it’s not a hell ya, then it’s a fuck no.” And it resonated, deeply. How many things in life do we do that we simply would rather not, but we do them for reasons we can’t even explain or when we say the reason out loud it sounds crazy, or silly, or wrong or simply not you.. anymore. This idea about truly becoming true to self unraveled from this small reply yet the impact was cellular. We discussed how this had infiltrated our lives and imagined how women everywhere also experience this same sense of unself. That quote would become the basis for a song, no an anthem, to inspire other women to stop living for other people, to surrender, to find your purpose, to not give up on your dreams, to stop settling because there’s enough in this world for all of us to win! And so Bulletproof Blyss was created and True Self Babe was formed. True Self Babe is the individual journey of unleashing your truest self, following and expressing your creative calling, being in service to others in a healthy way, with boundaries and proper motivation, and lastly to be in community with other women who are on a similar journey you are, because we are all on the journey of becoming.

So the last 11 years have shaped what I now help others create, which is standing out in a sea of similarity. I advises startup and early-stage entrepreneurs to create brands that are clear, compelling + impossible to forget. AND THE ART?

Well after I left my lash business behind, I moved to the East Coast where I met my husband, I was able to take time to heal and just be and create. I created over 60 pieces in 2023-2024. I have digital copies of all the one-of-a-kind creations and they are everywhere... on our website and throughout our social media, mixed into my digital art style creating a unique branding perspective for Empower Her and True Self Babe.

And you can now get your hands on a 1:1 @chanellwith2lls original!

Her zone of genius: systems and processes, everything I needed, everything I sucked at. Not only does she have skills with spreadsheets that would make your head spin, but her ability to lead and anchor the ship is something I look up to. She’s the lion, queen of the jungle [or zoo] can roar but is also there to just be a badass.

Rockstar Zones

I've never had my people in business. But business is wild, it’s a literal zoo [or jungle] and we can’t all be flamingos. Some of us gotta be lions, and zebras and penguins. Everyone has their own unique strengths [we call them Rockstar Zones] collaborating and co-creating with people who have different rockstar zones than you = game changer!

andrea

Her zone of genius: super connector, networking queen, friendly, can talk to anyone. She makes the most intimidating part of business look easy, the selling part, the putting yourself out there part. She’s the penguin + everyone’s coming to see the penguins and the penguin is getting around to see everyone, swimmin, walkin, talkin, they’re the life of the zoo [not the jungle]

Being out of alignment for so long, being burnt out and in a toxic relationship took a lot of healing and recovery. It takes years— shoot I’m still in it. But everything starts with awareness. I came across Human Design a few years ago during my "rebirth" I call it and I totally changed my perspective on who I am and who I came here to be. Some would consider it “woo woo” but I’m here for it and it’s a woohoo win for me! Human Design taught me alignment, the signs to look for when I wasn’t aligned, what my soul came here to accomplish, how I can best show up for people, how I can best make decisions. A compass to all that life be lifin stuff! Another factor was my faith and belief in God— I had been away from it for so long that the resurrection of my faith kicked into overdrive with all the self development, mindset, alignment I was seeking. It made me truly believe that all things really are possible. So I became the founding member and president of the possibilities party— again first of it’s kind— where we believe all things are possible [and I swear one day, there will be shirts!] So if you’ve ever felt, “damn I wish I had someone in my life who would keep it 100 with me but not like tear me down in the process” I’m your girl. Let’s work through the shit so you can get back to who you came here to be! Remember I believe that world peace is possible when we all start chasing our dreams, so are you ready to do your part?
